The application does not guarantee that there will be a place for the child or that an available place will be offered.

The I.S. is subsidized in part by the Dutch Government. It is therefore subject to the standards set by the Dutch Ministry of Education. This includes the legal and administrative constraints regarding school times, holidays and teaching conditions that apply to all programmes of the school. Parents, or the companies that employ them, are expected to contribute to the cost of this education. The terms and conditions for the payment of school fees for children attending the International School are:
  1. The school fees for an academic year are € 2912 per child.
  2. No discount will be given in the case of more than one child from the same family attending the International School.
  3. If a child begins attending the School at a date other than the official start of the academic year in August/September, the school fee will be calculated pro rata, plus one month.
  4. If a child leaves during the course of a school year, a refund will be given pro rata, minus one month.
  5. Parents are requested to pay the school fee within two months of receipt of the invoice. Should this not be convenient, the fee can be paid in two instalments (September 1 and January 1) by agreement with the Director.

Students are admitted from the age of three years and upward and leave us at the completion of Group 7 – that is at age 11+.

In the event of places being over subscribed, priority is given to families which already have a child attending the school.

Proof of payment of the registration fee should be submitted at the same time as the registration form is sent to the school. No registration, thus no guarantee of placement can be guaranteed without the necessary documentation and payment of registration fee. The registration fee is € 200. Thereafter you will be billed by the school.

In the event of the applicant's knowledge of the English language being below the acceptable minimum (as determined by the school), the applicant is required to have additional English as an Additional Language coaching. Such coaching may be arranged by the school but the costs, usually around € 30 per hour, remain the responsibility of the parents. The Additional Language Coaching (Intensive Course) will take around 32 hours in a four week period.
